Emotions Anonymous is a community of men and women from all professions and walks of life who meet regularly to resolve their emotional problems. At weekly meetings, participants seek to learn and practise a new way of life. The only requirement for membership is the desire to achieve emotional health and to maintain it.

Despite legal advances and equality with heterosexuality, repression and discrimination persist to this day. Discrimination and disadvantage in almost all areas of life are accompanied by psychosocial stress and increased psychological vulnerability. This Emotions Anonymous group was formed against the backdrop of these particular pressures. No personal data is collected from participants, and they are not required to disclose their surnames.
