About this event
This discussion event focuses on the everyday realities of queer people with disabilities. Rebekka Pimperl, an expert in architectural accessibility, Katta Spiel, a researcher at Vienna University of Technology, and Florian Wibmer-Gschnaidtner from the Vienna Anti-Discrimination Office for LGBTIQ Affairs will share their personal experiences. Following a brief introduction, visitors will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in direct discussion in small group sessions. The event will be hosted by drag artist Necrosis, founder of the inclusive drag collective Dragsau, who will also be performing. Heidemarie Egger from the advocacy group ‘Women* with Disabilities’ played a key role in organising the event. Everyone is welcome, with or without disabilities, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
