Queerfilmnacht: Bearcave

Queer Film Night presents *Bearcave*, a Greek romance film about friendship, queer desire and self-determination. The film centres on the inseparable friends Argyro and Anneta, who live in a small Greek mountain village. Whilst Argyro is secretly in love with her best friend, Anneta finds herself pregnant by her boyfriend. Before their paths go their separate ways, the two set off in search of a legendary bear’s cave – a journey that will change their lives. The film by Krysianna B. Papadakis and Stergios Dinopoulos celebrated its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival and will be screened in the original Greek version with German subtitles. The screening is supported by the Löwenherz bookshop as a community partner.
