Lesung: Sebastian Benedict "Die Frau aus dem See"

Viennese author Sebastian Benedict presents *The Woman from the Lake*, a new crime novel centred on Colonel Joham. When the body of a laundry shop owner is recovered from a body of water, everything initially points to suicide. However, the discovery of further dead women presents the investigator and his assistant, Albin Kübler, with a mystery. As in his previous novels, Benedict combines a gripping crime case with psychological depth, subtle humour and literary allusions to works by Georges Simenon and Patrick Süskind. The author will be presenting his new novel in person at the reading at the ‘Buchhandlung Löwenherz’ bookshop.
