A relaxed night out
For anyone who fancies a bit of a chat in the evening
A night out doesn’t have to be loud. This guide is for all those evenings when you’d rather chat than dance: a glass of wine after work, a long evening with friends, or a first date. These places have music at a conversational volume, plenty of seating and no strict door policy. You can get in without a dress code or an entry fee, and nobody expects you to stay until the morning.
These include small bars with lots of regulars, coffee houses that turn into bars in the evening, and venues where you can also enjoy a good meal. It’s usually quietest during the week and in the early evening. On Fridays and Saturdays, it gets busier here too.
