How to explore Vienna’s scene by day and by night
In Vienna for a short stay, and for the first time? This selection is for you: places you can walk into without insider knowledge, membership or a strict door policy, and where English is no problem. By day, try a coffee house, a bookshop and a look at the city's queer history; at night, bars and clubs.
Most venues are around Naschmarkt in Mariahilf and Wieden and in the city centre, all easy to reach by public transport. Bars usually fill up from around 9 pm, clubs from midnight.
